Two Month Doctor's Appointment

Dear William,

Mommy and Daddy took you to your two month check up on Monday.  You weighed 11 pounds, 13.6 ounces and were 22 3/4" long.  You are growing so fast!  It seems like you are so big you have to be "off the charts" but you are only in the 54th percentile for weight and the 43rd percentile for height.  The nurse also measured your head circumference at 15 1/4", which is the 22nd percentile.  The doctor said that you are growing as you should be and everything checks out "perfectly."  Mommy and Daddy already knew you were perfect, but it is nice to have the doc confirm that. 

Mommy and Daddy take you to Dr. Adam Eaton at Blue Fish Pediatrics.  The office is a little further than we wanted, but Dr. Eaton really impressed Mommy and Daddy when we took our Newborn Care class, so we went with him.

The worst part of your appointment was that you got two shots and an oral vaccine!  You only cried about 2 minutes and then you calmed down, but it still was hard for Mommy and Daddy.  You were a little fussy Monday afternoon, and definitely not yourself yesterday...more on that in my next post.  You are fine today though and pretty much all smiles!
