You are growing so fast! It seems like you are turning into more of a little boy than a baby. It is so exciting to watch you grow, but also sad at the same time. Time is going so fast!
Here are some things you've been up to lately:
- You are now crawling like a mad-man. You can book across the room in no time flat!
- You now say "Momma!" Your exact quote the first time you said it was, "Momma..blah, blah, blah." Babcia and Grandpa Fuerst heard you say it too.
- You are also pulling up and you can "walk" if Mommy or Daddy hold your hands. It is so cute the way you flip your feet out to make yourself walk forward!
- The other day Mommy and Daddy noticed that you were kind of "dancing" to the music on your music table. You were sitting next to Mommy and kept rocking to the beat. So cute!
- You have gotten a lot better at eating your "puffs." At first you would just gag and puke, but now you can't seem to get enough of them. You have started to eat "toddler" food at day care, which basically consists of small veggies, like peas or carrots, or soft fruit, like canned pears.
- You are a HAM for the camera. If Mommy gets the camera out you stop what you are doing and smile. You seem to like to show off. It is funny.
- Your favorite game to play with Mommy and Daddy is to knock over a tower or stack of toys that we stack as fast as we can before you knock it over again. You laugh hysterically.
- You have stopped taking your morning nap. So far you seem to be doing okay with it. Also, your teachers at day care though it was time for you to move to a cot for napping, so they are trying that this week. Today, you almost slept for two hours in the afternoon, which is more normal for you, so we think things are going well.
- You've been a bit of bear lately, because you have woken up four nights in couple weeks. And these wake ups have not been like the "feed me and put me back to sleep" wake ups. These have been all out screaming for almost two hours kind of wake ups. Mommy and Daddy think you are probably teething...for real this time. :-)
Here are some pictures of you hamming it up for the camera:
We love you so much!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
